As previously mentioned in my ‘getting into the christmas spirit’ blog – garden centres are a free way to feel extremely festive and see all the christmas magic. Garden centres will more often than not, go all out with their decorations, grand christmas trees, beautiful christmas lights, christmas music on loop, what more could a christmas fan ask for? Anyway, when I get more time closer to christmas and after work, I want to go to as many different garden centres as possible. They’re such a great day out; they have everything!
Myself and Bea recently went to the most impressive garden centre I think I’ve even been to… one we stumbled upon on our way back from Lincoln on the A46 stretch, I just saw it out of the corner of my eye, quickly went on to google maps and I found the queen of all garden centres. It was called East Bridgeford garden centre – here’s the address: Fosse Way, East Bridgford, Nottingham NG13 8LA
After about a half an hour drive we arrived, and it was even better than I thought it was going to be. Firstly, it was huge! It even had an ice rink?! We genuinely walked around for over an hour and a half just looking at all the different gifts/candles/decorations. Honestly it made us both wish we were homeowners because it was christmas home inspiration central in that place. The only downside was that it was a little bit expensive, but that’s to be expected with such an amazing garden centre…it’s never going to be B&M prices.
I honestly can’t wait to have my own home and hopefully by that time have some spare money to decorate my home at christmas time as freely as I want and to be as extravagant as I want. There’s something so magical about a grand christmas tree with warm lights and ribbons and decorations and a strict colour theme.
I was honestly too concerned at making sure I had some good instagram stories that I forgot to take actual photos. But here’s what I managed to get, I’m sure you’ll be able to understand the magic from these, I’ve also tried to link my instagram stories which contains a lot of the magic from the garden centre…check that out here. https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/17964991906181427/
I’m really keen to go to a few more garden centres this month, so I’d love your suggestions? Where’s your favourite garden centre?
Until tomorrow,
Megan
