Happy Sunday to you all…the last Sunday of November now, it’s soon to be December. Where has the year gone? It’s been another great year on planet earth for me and I am really looking forward to properly reflecting on this year, what went well, and what didn’t go so well…what I’ve learnt and what I’ve achieved. I’m also totally ready to find out what next year has to offer for me, it’s going to be one of the most exciting but also challenging yet for me…and I’ll be bringing my blog along with me all the way.

If you happen to be wondering about the title of this weeks blog post, here’s my explanation…blogmas (blog christmas)! I have decided to put my blogging to the test, and have committed myself to blogging every day until christmas. That’s a blog everyday, for 25 days! I want to test myself and my ability to commit to something, after generally being the person who starts something and then doesn’t totally stick to it, but I’m really determined with this, as well as thinking that if I publicly committed to something, I would be less likely to fail!

I also want to grow my audience ahead of my travels, so I thought that posting regularly would help with just that, as well as writing about seasonal topics, which again… might help me reach a wider audience! I love all of christmas, the films, the music, the food, the gift-giving…even the Christmas adverts! After my mum passed away I didn’t look forward to christmas for a few years and I thought Christmas would never be enjoyable again without her here. Whilst it will never, ever, be the same without her warming smile and comforting presence, I’ve began to enjoy Christmas again now and I’m really happy about it. Because of my excitement about Christmas, I’m really looking forward to sharing some of the Christmas spirit that I have just bursting out of me, so each blog post will be related to Christmas in some way, but sticking to my ‘lifestyle, fashion, beauty and food’ type of blog. However, if christmas blogs aren’t for you, don’t fret – I will be keeping my Sunday blog posts to non-christmas themes, just my usual lifestyle/food/fashion related content…I don’t want to overkill the Christmas theme (even though you can never have too much christmas in my opinion).

May I add that the blogs won’t always be as long as my usual blogs, but what I might lack in word count… I will most certainly make up for with FESTIVE CHEER. Let’s enjoy this christmas countdown together and revel totally in all this festive season has to offer us…it’s the most wonderful time of the year (5 points to whoever can name the song and it’s artist!)

I’m not going to give away all of my blog ideas, but I’ve had them coming to me left, right and centre, so here’s a few of what we have to come;

  • Getting into the Christmas spirit
  • Decadent vegan hot chocolate recipe
  • LUSH christmas range
  • Festive playlist

And that is all you’re getting for the time being…you’ll have to stay tuned for the rest!

I’d absolutely love it if we could go on this Christmas journey together and if I could get some regular readers – blogging really is my passion and it’s so exciting seeing and hearing about people enjoying reading what I love writing. Oh and one last thing, how incredible is my header for my blogmas? I’m thrilled to ribbons with it, it’s so sweet and festive!

Anyway, that’s it from me for today…see you in 6 days time, Saturday the 1st of December, for the FIRST of many blogmas blogs 🙂

Until next time,

x x

P.S. You’ll see a #blogmas tab up at the top of my blog, that way you’ll be able to find a complete list of my blogmas blogs (obviously this won’t be complete until the end of December) but incase you miss one one day, that’s the best place to find it! However, I’d say the best way to make sure you don’t miss a blog this month is to subscribe? It takes seconds and that way you’ll be notified whenever a new blog goes up…perfect.
