My favourite winter jumpers of the season

Whilst I love bargain online stores such as BOOHOO, MISSGUIDED AND PRETTYLITTLETHING, when it comes to winter jumpers, I want thick, insulating jumpers, and its often hard to find this with the cheaper alternatives.

Most years I’ll invest in one good winter jumper that I will wear really frequently, it will accompany me on dog walks, to church on Christmas eve, around Christmas markets etc, therefore I need a serious jumper!!

Generally, I’m not one for novelty jumpers, but I’m definitely one for festive themed jumpers, so long as they’re subtle. I absolutely love Christmas and I find that a Christmas jumper really helps to get you into the spirit, not to mention it’s another excuse to wear something a bit different! I’m sat here writing this now with a Christmas music playing and a bag full of wrapped presents staring right at me, I am ready for you Christmas!

Over the years I’ve acquired some amazing jumpers, often in the January sales! I must admit, I’m hopeless at photographing items of clothing. I’m going to do my best to find the jumpers I already have, and then go onto find some jumpers and create a sort of wish list of winter jumpers on various websites.

I’ll leave links to all of the jumpers I choose underneath in case I’ve inspired you to purchase one or two, I hope you enjoy it!

1. ZARA GREY AND BLACK PATCHWORK SWEATER

2. ZARA GREY AND WHITE PATCHWORK SWEATER (MY PREFERRED OUT OF THE TWO)

As you can probably tell, I’m really digging the patchwork jumpers at the moment, I adore these neutral colours, they’re timeless and so classy. I also love how they have styled the jumper with a shirt, you can always count on ZARA.

3. ZARA OVERSIZE MULTICOLOUR SWEATER

I true ZARA knitwear completely, these jumpers will last you season after season, when will a baggy turtleneck not be in fashion? For the use and quality you would receive from this, I really think it is worth every penny.

4. ASOS JUMPER IN LEOPARD WITH SPORTS STRIPE

5. ELLESSE (ON ASOS) OVERSIZED JUMPER IN ORANGE STRIPE

Whilst this is neither christmassy nor particularly warm, I just couldn’t not include it, I love how all the older prints of sports brands are coming back! You can get vintage-looking clothes without being ripped off or searching through endless vintage rales (and avoiding the vintage smell). This jumper it potentially my favourite, I just love the contrasting colours anyhow vibrant they both are, good work Ellesse, good work.

6. ASOS JUMPER WITH CREW NECK IN ZEBRA PATTERN

It may be obvious but I love animal prints, they’re so much fun and versatile. ASOS is inundated with jumpers, so to use this website will require some serious patience and time on your hands, but you can always use the search tab or side bar to make the results much more specific and small!

7. NEXT FUNNEL NECK GREY PINK AND WHITE

screen-shot-2017-12-02-at-10-42-22.png

I was shocked by how well priced this jumper was, I never really think to look at next, but I most definitely will now that I found this jumper. I love the big sleeves and high neck, I also love the price and trust the quality!

8. H&M MULTICOLOURED HIGH NECK OVERSIZED JUMPER

I love how this is styled, I love the baggy look and I would even be tempted to wear this oversized jumper as a dress with knee high boots! Who doesn’t love a multi-purpose item of clothing, a jumper AND a dress? I’m sold!

9. M&S FAIRISLE PRINT MULTICOLOURED JUMPER

This jumper is obviously incredibly expensive due to it being completely cashmere, but I was just taken back by how trendy this was for m&s (no offence marks and sparks!). I love the bright pink and the print too…I’d normally say that this is too loud of a jumper for my taste, but I’m drawn to it! Obviously for me there is the issue of cashmere not being ‘vegan friendly’ and thus I personally would have to refrain from purchasing (my bank balance rejoices), but I wanted to share incase anyone else out there fancied it! I bet it’s so soft, mmm.

Which was your favourite? Where do you get your winter jumpers from? Let me know!

That’s going to conclude this blog post, I hope you found a couple that you liked and that it gave you some inspo!! I hope you all have a magical christmas, I know I will.

Until next time
